Hi, I'm Souyenne and I'm so glad you're here

At KinTSou Therapy, my work is deeply inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold. This practice doesn’t erase or hide the cracks, it honors them, transforming what was once fractured into something even stronger and more beautiful.

Healing works the same way. Your past doesn’t define you, but it can shape you into a more resilient, empowered version of yourself. My passion is guiding you through that journey, helping you embrace every part of your story, even the painful ones, with patience, self-compassion, and care.

With over a decade of experience in therapy, particularly supporting survivors of sexual violence, I understand that healing takes time. That’s why I take an integrative, mind-body approach, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and rebuild from the inside out.

With KinTSou Therapy, you’re here to reclaim your story, reconnect with yourself, and discover the beauty in your resilience.

Your healing journey starts here. And I’m with you every step of the way.

Get To Know Me

I’m Souyenne Rani Hackshaw, and I founded KinTSou Therapy to offer a space where healing is approached with curiosity, compassion, and care.

My passion for trauma therapy is deeply personal. As a survivor of sexual trauma, I understand what it means to seek safety, understanding, and support. Specializing in trauma-informed therapy has not only allowed me to explore my own healing but also to show up differently, creating a space where you can breathe, process, and heal at your own pace.

Inspired by Kintsugi and the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, I believe in embracing the beauty of imperfection. Wabi-Sabi teaches us that there is profound value in the raw, unfinished, and ever-evolving nature of life—just as healing is not about perfection but about accepting ourselves as we are, in every stage of the journey. Our fractures don’t make us weaker; they make us whole in new and unexpected ways.

At KinTSou Therapy, I take an integrative, mind-body approach, blending trauma therapy, somatic practices, and embodiment techniques to help you reconnect with yourself. Healing isn’t meant to feel overwhelming, it’s a journey of rediscovery, empowerment, and transformation.

I want every client to know this: You are not broken. You are evolving. Whether you’re seeking individual therapy, couples counseling, group support, or simply learning to care for your mind the way you care for your body, I am here to walk this journey with you.
